Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma linked with Liverpool

Besiktas's Portuguese international Ricardo Quaresma, has been linked with a move to the English Premier League.

According to various Turkish sports media outlets, Liverpool are preparing an €8 million bid for the flamboyant winger.

The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is understood to be a fan of 28-year-old Quaresma and has marked him out as a replacement for Dirk Kyut, who moved to Fenerbahce last month for €2.85 million.

Quaresma made 38 appearances for Besiktas last season, contributing with seven goals and 11 assists.
