Dirk Kuyt - 'I'm going to try and bring Robin van Persie to Fenerbahce'

Dirk Kuyt has been training with his teammates ahead of the Netherlands 2014 World Cup qualification game against Turkey.
Kuyt gave a brief interview ahead of the match, regarding his move to Fenerbahçe and the forthcoming game however, the former Liverpool man also made a few surprise comments.
Kuyt said, "I could play a role in bringing Van Persie to Fenerbahçe, I'm going to try to bring him here, I have spoken to him about this many times and we were away on holiday together.
"Personally, I feel in better shape than in 2004, I have gotten over my barren spell and have scored six goals in six games for Fenerbahçe.
"Istanbul is a beautiful and relaxing city, they really look after me well here, I'm happy and have even thought about settling down here after my playing career.
"I have a lot of respect for Van Gaal, he's a manager I really like, if I get the opportunity to play against Turkey I will try my hardest to get us a good result."
Kuyt joined the Istanbul club from Liverpool for €1 million this summer.
The 32-year-old forward signed a three year contract with the Istanbul club worth €2.85 million per-season in addition to a match bonus of €17,500.
