Fenerbahce goalkeeper Volkan Demirel signs 4 year contract extension
Fenerbahçe agreed terms with goalkeeper Volkan Demirel in agreeing a four-year contract extension.
Volkan's contract was set to expire in 2013, the new deal will see the Turkish international keeper remain at the club until 2017.
The 30-year-old keeper will have worn the Fenerbahçe for fifteen years if he remains at the club till the end of his tenure making him one of the longest serving Yellow Canary players in club history.
Volkan has made 262 appearances for the Istanbul club since joining from Kartalspor in 2002.
The Fenerbahçe veteran has won four Turkish Super League titles and was in the Turkish National Team which finished as semi-finalists in the 2008 European Championships.
