Wesley Sneijder will not be joining Chelsea according to agent
Galatasaray playmaker Wesley Sneijder will not be joining Chelsea or any other club according to his agent Soren Lerby.
Lerby told Radio CRC: "The issue is clear. Wesley is very happy at Galatasaray and he will continue there next season."
Sneijder had been closely linked with Chelsea following the appointment of Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho signed Sneijder from Real Madrid in 2009 during his time managing Internazionale.
The Chelsea boss transformed Sneijder from a player who had not quite lived up to his potential at Real in to one of the most highly rated players in world football.
Sneijder and Mourinho helped secure a historic treble winning season for Inter - winning the Serie A, Copa Italia and Champions League titles.
Netherlands national team coach Louis van Gaal also advised Sneijder to consider Chelsea if an offer was made.
The 28-year-old playmaker joined Galatasaray from Inter Milan in January and made 12 appearances for the 2012-13 Turkish Süper Lig Champions.
