Emmanuel Eboue hints at Arsenal return
Galatasaray right-back Emmanuel Eboue hinted that he wants to return to Arsenal in the future.
"I am still an Arsenal fan, I will return one day and playing in the Premier League again would be very enjoyable," Eboue said following Galatasaray's pre-season friendly against Notts County.
"I still love Arsenal and really believe in them this season.
"I feel Wenger will win silverware this season, he is a great manager and has a strong team however, I think he needs to strengthen his side a bit more with a few more signings."
Eboue was part of the 2005 FA Cup winning Arsenal side - the last time the Gunners have won a trophy.
The Ivory Coast international joined Arsenal from KSK Beveren in 2005 for €2.2 million and went on to play 211 times over a span of seven seasons for the Gunners.
The 30-year-old right-back joined Galatasaray for €3.5 million in 2011.
Eboue played a key role in the Lions lifting the 2011-12 Turkish Süper Lig title and helped win a record 19th league title last season. Eboue also featured regulalry in Galatasaray's Champions League campaign - the Lions reached the quarter-finals.
The former Arsenal fullback has scored four times and provided eight assists in 71 appearances since joining Galatasaray.
