Ex Chelsea coach Di Matteo & Roberto Mancini linked with Galatasaray job
Former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo and former Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini are among the managers being linked with the vacant managerial role at Galatasaray.
Fatih Terim was sacked by Galatasaray today after the board reached a majority decision to terminate his contract.
Terim was appointed manager of Galatasaray on 2011 and went on to win back-to-back Turkish Süper Lig and Super Cup titles as well as guide the Lions into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Di Matteo had been closely linked with Sunderland however, decided against taking over as manager.
The Italian coach famously led Chelsea to Champions League glory before his controversial sacking 11 months ago.
Mancini is currently unemployed after being sacked by City at the end of last season. The 48-year-old lead City to the Premier League title and had previous success with Inter Milan.
Galatasaray have also been linked with former Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes.
