Kayserispor 2-4 Galatasaray: Lions roar in Kayseri
Galatasaray defeated Kayserispor 4-2 in the Kadir Has stadium.
The Lions took an early lead when Burak Yilmaz played a through ball to Wesley Sneijder who fired a long range shot into the bottom left hand corner on 14 minutes. Sneijder has now scored in his last three appearances for Galatasaray.
Aurélien Chedjou doubled the away sides lead on 25 minutes with his first goal for the Lions.
Galatasaray looked dominant, the away side controlled a majority of the possession and could easily have extended their lead however, yet again poor defending and individual errors let the team down.
Kayserispor managed to score twice within a minute just before the half time whistle to level the scoring.
Galatasaray imploded just before the break and looked shaky going into the second half. Kayserispor created a number of golden opportunities but failed to convert and instead ended up conceding again when Burak Yilmaz got his name on the scoresheet on 56 minutes.
Didier Drogba wrapped up the three points after converting from a free kick on 75 minutes for his fifth goal of the season.
The win takes Galatasaray into fourth place, just six points behind league leaders Fenerbahçe.
