Galatasaray deny Drogba move to Seattle Sounders
Galatasaray have denied reports linking Didier Drogba with a move to Seattle Sounders.
The Lions press officer Şükrü Ergün said, "We have not been informed of anything, the speculation sounds like speculation from the foreign press.
"We would like Drogba to stay and he is happy at the club.
"If he wanted out he would have let us known, if he had agreed with a club from the US he would talk to us about it first.
"Drogba is a stand up man and would inform us if he intended to move."
Drogba was rumoured to have reached an agreement with Sounders which would have seen him join the MLS club at the end of the season.
The Ivory Coast international is free to speak to clubs this month, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.
Drogba joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Shanghai Shenhua last January.
The 35-year-old has scored 18 goals and provided 12 assists since joining the Lions.
