Monaco to make €20 million offer Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder
Monaco are set to launch a €20 million bid for Galatasaray’s playmaker Wesley Sneijder according to French newspaper Lequipe.
The Ligue 1 outfit are currently on the hunt for a new midfielder following the departure of James Rodriguez to Real Madrid.
Monaco are reported to have drawn up a shortlist including Shaqiri (Bayern Munich), Douglas Costa, Alex Teixeira (Donestsk) and Wesley Sneijder.
Sneijder recently turned down an offer from Monaco according to his agent Guido Albers.
“Monaco made an offer but Sneijder wants to stay at Galatasaray,” Guibers said.
“Sneijder loves Istanbul and has settled into life in the city. He is not interested in a move away from the club.”
The Netherlands international currently earns €3.2 million per-season and still has two-years left on his contract.
The 30-year-old lead Galatasaray to Turkish Cup glory last season and played an important role in Galatasaray reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
