Neymar praises Arda Turan [divider]
Brazil national team star Neymar has praised Arda Turan ahead of the international game against Turkey on Wednesday 12 November 2014.
“Arda Turan is a great talent he had an incredible season,” Neymar said.
“It is always tough playing against Arda.”
Neymar also highlighted that there are a lot of well paid Brazilian players in Turkey.
“There are a lot of Brazilian players in Turkey and they make just as much money as in Spain,” Neymar said.
Turan became the first Turkish born player to win the La Liga as Atleti won their first league title since 1996 last season.
The Turkish international has two goals and two assists in 12 appearances for the Spanish champions this season.
Turan and Neymar will go head to head when Brazil face Turkey in Istanbul.
Neymar has been in great form for his national team, the 22-year-old scored four goals against Japan in Brazil’s 4-0 win last month.
The Barcelona star has scored 40 in 58 senior international appearances for Brazil.
