Nigeria international Obasi denies Besiktas link

Nigeria international Chinedu Obasi has denied reports linking him with a summer move to Beşiktaş according to SL10.

The Schalke 04 striker is expected to leave the Bundesliga outfit at the end of the season following the end of his contract.

Obasi did however, state that it could be possible that an agent had been in contract with the Süper Lig club on his behalf.

“‘I don’t know where the news is coming from. I have not had any contact with Besiktas,” Obasi told SL10.ng.

”Maybe an agent is talking with them but I am not.”
