On-loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo is expected to return back to London this summer according to his representative who spoke to allnigeriasoccer.com.

“Kenneth Omeruo is definitely returning to England,” his representative was quoted as saying.

“He will have pre-season training at Chelsea, then weigh the options available to him.”

Omeruo spent last season on-loan at Istanbul minnows Kasimpasa where he established himself as a key defender.

Kasimpasa had one of the best defensive records in the league last season and Omeruo was rated as one of the most outstanding young defenders in the league.

Omeruo has attracted interest from rival Super Lig sides and it remains to be seen whether the Nigerian international will stay at Cheslea or be loaned out again next season.

The 22-year-old has already spent a season at Middlesbrough and in the Netherlands prior to moving to Turkey.

Omeruo did settle in well to life in Istanbul and could attract offers from all three city giants this summer.

The 28-cap Nigerian international has however, had a few injury problems which may put off potential suitors.

The international defender is expected to return to the Blues at the end of the season.
