Northern Ireland beat Finland thanks Lafferty brace [divider]

Northern Ireland beat Finland 2-1 at Windsor park in their Euro 2016 Group F qualifier thanks to a brace from on loan Rizespor forward Kyle Lafferty.

The win moved Northern Ireland into second place with 12 points from a possible 15.

Lafferty joined Rizespor from Norwich City on loan over the winter transfer window.

The Northern Ireland international joined Norwich in the summer from Serie A outfit Palermo.

The striker has a lot of experience playing outside of England. Lafferty has also played in Scotland for Glasgow Rangers and in Switzerland for FC Sion.

The 27-year-old only had one goal in 18 games for the Championship outfit before making his move.

The Black Sea based club are currently in 13th place on 28 points after 26 games and are managed by Hikmet Karaman.
