Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty has joined Rizespor on loan according to the BBC.
The Northern Ireland international joined Norwich from Serie A outfit Palermo in the summer.
The 27-year-old only had one goal in 18 Championship games and was an unused substitute in Saturday’s 0-0 Championship draw at Birmingham.
Lafferty began his career at Burnley but he has experience playing abroad. The striker has also played in Scotland for Glasgow Rangers and in Switzerland for FC Sion.
Rizespor have been active during the winter transfer window.
The Black Sea based club recently signed Ludovic Obraniak from Werder Bremen on loan until the end of the season.
Rizespor also agreed to mutually terminate the contract of former Newcastle United striker Lomana Lualua.
The Süper Lig outfit are currently in 15th place on 17 points after 18 games and are managed by Hikmet Karaman.
Rizespor have only picked up four points at home this season – the world record in the league.
