Nuri Sahin ruled out with injury against Bayern Munich [divider]

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Şahin has been ruled out of the Bundesliga clash against Bayern Munich with injury.

Şahin missed most of the first half of the season with injury however, the Turkish international has been in impressive form in 2015.

The Turkish international spent the first half of the season out injured but has since recovered and made 9 appearances in all competitions.

Şahin made his debut for Borussia Dortmund aged just 16, becoming the youngest player to appear in the Bundesliga.

The 25-year-old was selected as the best performing central midfielder in Europe since the turn of the year.

Şahin scored 100 in the CIES Football Observatory’s latest performance rankings.

Dortmund are struggling with injuries, right-back Oliver Kirch and Lukasz Piszczek are also out as is Kevin Grosskreutz.

The Bundesliga outfit are currently 10th in the Bundesliga on 33 points after after 26 games.

Bayern Munich are currently Bundesliga leaders on 64 points.
