Olcay Sahan: ‘I believe we will eliminate Liverpool’

Besiktas winger Olcay Sahan has stated that he believes his side will eliminate Liverpool from the Europa League.
Olcay spoke with LigTv reporters ahead of this weeks trip to Liverpool.
“We have started the second half of the season well and go into the Liverpool game in good form,” Olcay told LigTv reporters.
“Our confidence will show on Thursday. I believe we will eliminate Liverpool over the two legs.”

Beşiktaş have played Premier League opposition four times this season. The Black Eagles lost 1-0 to Arsenal over two legs in the Champions League playoffs.
The Turkish giants also drew against Tottenham in London and beat Spurs in Istanbul in the Europa League group stages
The 27-year-old now has seven goals and eight assists in all competitions this season.
Besiktas are currently at the top of the Turkish Super League following their 3-2 victory over Bursaspor last weekend. The Eagles have 47 points in 20 games and take on Eskisehirspor next.
