Olympiacos join the race for Aston Villa target Oğulcan Çağlayan

The Greek League champions Olympiacos have joined the race to sign Oğulcan Çağlayan according to the Fanatik newspaper.

Erciyesspor have set a €2.5 million valuation on the sort-after striker who is expected to leave this summer.

The report goes onto state that Olympiacos are only willing to offer €2 million for the 19-year-old.

Çağlayan is a highly rated 19-year-old striker who provided two assists and scored six goals for Kayseri Erciyesspor last season.

Aston Villa are also in the race to sign the talented striker according to Eurosport TR.

The 19-year-old has been capped for the U-16,U-17,U-18 and U-19 Turkish national teams.

Çağlayan joined Erciyesspor from Gaziantepspor in February 2015 for €365,000. The young striker now has a market value of €2 million.

Erciyesspor were relegated from the Turkish Super Lig last season after picking up just 27 points in 34 games.

Aston Villa ended the Premier League season in 17th place with 38 points in 38 games.
