Olympiakos eye Bruno Alves swoop [divider]
Olympiakos are interested in Fenerbahçe defender Bruno Alves according to Sporx.
“I do not know if Olympiakos or any other Greek teams are interested,” Bruno was quoted as saying.
“But I have a contract with Fenerbahçe and do not want to talk about any transfers.
“I did have a good time in Greece but do not want to comment on any rumours.”
Alves has also been linked with a move to Sporting Lisbon however, Fenerbahçe recently confirmed that he will not be leaving in January.
The statement read: “The rumours linking Bruno Alves with a transfer abroad are false. These rumours are all false, Bruno has a contract with Fenerbahçe football club and wants to remain at the club.”
The 32-year-old defender currently earns €2.3 million per season and has two-years left on his contract.
