On-loan Man City wonder-kid Denayer expected to start second Champions League

Galatasaray defender Jason Denayer is expected to start his third consecutive game for the Lions in the Istanbul giants UEFA Champions League clash against Astana.

The Lions are currently in Kazakhstan ahead of their second Champions League group stage game.

Galatasaray lost the first game 2-0 against Atletico Madrid but Denayer made an impressive debut and has been able to keep his place in the team.

The 20-year-old defender has found himself played in an unorthodox role as a right-back but has managed to keep Galatasaray veteran full-back Sabri Sarıoğlu out of the team.

Denayer has had no trouble settling into life in Turkey in fact he has already developed a taste for one of the most popular drinks in the country; tea or çay (chai) as the locals call it.

The young defender shared an Instagram post having a traditional ‘cuppa’ alongside the caption: “çay… #do#you#think#there#is#better?#i#dont#think#so.”
