Oscar Cardozo admits he misses Benfica [divider]
Trabzonspor striker Oscar Cardozo has revealed that he misses Benfica and still watches all their games.
“I miss Benfica, I miss the lights of the Luiz stadium,” Cardozo said.
“I could never wear the shirt of a club other than Benfica in Portugal.
“I could never see myself playing for another team in Portugal, I left my close friends over there but I still watch every game.
“I ran to my hotel after my game to watch the Estoril game recently.”
Cardozo also praised Benfica striker Anderson Talisca’s recent performances.
“I know him well, he is an excellent player and I knew he had potential when he trained together,” Cardozo said.
“I believe he will be a great asset to Benfica.”
Cardozo joined Trabzonspor on a €5 million move this summer on a three-year deal.
The Paraguayan international has five goals in seven Süper Lig appearances and one goal in six Europa League matches.
