Ozdilek pleased with Rizespor win against Adanaspor [divider]
Rizespor manager Mehmet Özdilek revealed that he was pleased with his teams performance following the 2-1 win against PTT 1. Lig side Adanaspor in the Turkish Cup.
“We won and that is what is important,” Özdilek said.
“We entered this game wanting to win and get off to a good run in the cup however, our morale is still low.
“The team have lost their spirit over the last two weeks, this was a chance to regain from self belief.
“We now have to show the same resolve in the league.
“Every game is winnable as long as you believe you can win.
“Look at the league, there are upsets every week because these teams are well motivated.
“We need to recover quickly from this bad spell.”
Rizespor moved into first place in the Turkish Cup Group F following the win against Adanaspor.
