Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger stated that he was impressed with his sides midfield display in the 3-1 win over Hull City.
Wenger also singled out Mesut Özil for praise following the win at the KC stadium.
“I think in midfield we played well, Özil as well he had a great game,” Wenger told Sky Sport 1 after the game.
Özil was given a 7.41 rating from Whoscored and has not received a score lower than 7.00 in his last eight league games.
The 26-year-old was involved in two of the goals against Hull that took Arsenal into joint second alongside Manchester City.
The North London based club will move three points clear of City with a win against Swansea City as they have a game in hand.
The World Cup winner recently won the Arsenal Vitality Player of the Month award and April PFA Fans Player of the Month award.
The Gunners have won 15 out of the last 18 games Özil has played in since recovering from injury.
Özil has four goals and seven assists since returning from injury in 2015.
