Barcelona star Arda Turan may have been unable to play for his club since joining on a five-year deal from Atletico Madrid over the summer but he has been in stellar form for the Turkish national side.
Turkey are unbeaten in their last 10 games in which Turan has featured and booked a direct place in the European Championships against all the odds.
The bearded winger played a key role in Turkey qualifying from Group A following consecutive victories against Czech Republic, Iceland and the Netherlands.
Turkey drew Czech Republic, Spain and Croatia in the Euro 2016 draw that was held today.
Turan shared a picture on Instagram following the draw from the team speech he gave after Turkey qualified for the tournament.
The 28-year-old also adde the following caption alongside the picture: “We are in a very tough group but it is great to be in the tournament and we will fight until the end and make our nation proud.”
