Barcelona’s attacking midfielder Arda Turan was present in the stands during Atletico Madrid’s encounter with Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.
The Turkish international began his career at Galatasaray before moving to Atletico Madrid in August 2011 for €12 million.
Atletico Madrid won the game comfortably at the Vicente Calderón Stadium by a 2-0 scoreline.
Turan won just about everything there is to win in club football alongside Luis from the La Liga to the Europa League and European Super Cup.
The 28-year-old could end up facing his former side in the Champions League Last 16 depending on the draw.
Turan has not been able to play for Barcelona due to the FIFA transfer ban but will return in time for the next round of Champions League games.
Barcelona take on Real Sociedad this weekend in the Spanish league.
