The Reds managed to record impressive wins despite being without star midfielder Emre Can who has been out injured.
Can picked up an ankle injury during the League Cup clash against Burton Albion last month but has made a full recovery and shared a picture today on his official Instagram account in training gear alongside the caption: “Happy to be back.”
Can could mark his return against Derby County in the mid-week League Cup clash.
In other Liverpool team news Marko Grujic and Ragnar Klavan could get a rare start for the Reds against Derby. Meanwhile Roberto Firmino, Sheyi Ojo and Joe Gomez could all miss the mid-week game due to injury.
