Mesut Ozil has proven that there is more to his game than assists this season. The Germany international of Turkish origin scored a hat-trick against Ludogorets in the 6-0 victory over the Bulgaria giants.
As you can imagine Ozil was delighted with the score and his display. The 28-year-old took a changing room selfie with a few of his teammates following the game. The Arsenal playmaker showed off the match ball while a few of his teamamtes tried to pull off his trademark ‘M’ goal celebration hand sign.
The selfie caused a social media storm and it was not long before a few pundits had their say on the matter.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand revealed on BT Sport after the game that he is not fond of post match selfies unless the player is celebrating winning a trophy.
