Arsenal star Mesut Özil has revealed that he is ready for the Germany national team Euro 2016 Group A qualification game against Ireland.
What better way to state you are ready than an Instagram photo? the prolific social media enthusiast uploaded a picture from the training ground alongside the caption: “Matchday!!! Let’s take the last step!”
Özil is of course in jubilant mood after a tremendous performance against Manchester United over the weekend.
The World Cup winner setup Alexis Sanchez with the opening goal and scored the second in the 3-0 win over the Red Devils.
Arsenal moved up into second place in the Premier League following the win and Özil ended up scoring his first goal of the season in the process.
Germany need just a point to book a place in the Euro 2016 competition and take on Ireland away next.
Özil is along with Emre Can and Ilkay Gündoğan one of three Germany national team players of Turkish origin.
