(Picture) Liverpool striker pleased with playing full 90 minutes

Liverpool striker Samed Yeşil was delighted with playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw with Morecambe at the Globe Arena on Saturday.

Yeşil has recently started regaining full match fitness after spending most of the last two seasons on the sidelines with a double cruciate ligament injury.

The 21-year-old striker shared a picture on his Instagram alongside the caption: “Happy to play 90min. again after a long time #ynwa #lfc #elhamdulillah”

Turkish newspaper HaberTurk recently reported that that Liverpool are open to the idea of allowing Yeşil to leave on loan however, the young striker wants to remain at the Reds and break into the first team next season.

Yeşil spend the summer touring Turkey. The 21-year-old spent time in Istanbul, Bodrum and his families home town of Trabzon the eastern Black Sea coast where he attended the annual Kadirga festival.

The Liverpool youngster was born in Germany but originates from Turkey. Yeşil can represent both Turkey and Germany at senior international level.
