Pierre van Hooijdonk worried about Kazim Richards against Netherlands [divider]
Former Netherlands international player Pierre van Hooijdonk has revealed that the player he fears most in the Turkish national team is Colin Kazim Richards.
Turkey take on the Netherlands in a Euro 2016 qualification group stage game on 28 March.
“If Kazim Richards plays I will be worried about Veltman in defence, he will be in for a tough time, he will struggle to deal with him physically,” Hooijdonk was quoted as saying by Sporx.
Hooijdonk previously played for Fenerbahçe as a player and won back to back league titles between 2004-05 and 2005-06.
Kazim Richards has scored 10 goals and provided six assists in all competitions for Feyenoord this season.
The English born Turkish international has two goals in 35 appearances for the Turkish national team.
The 28-year-old forward made his debut for Turkey back in June 2007 under Terim.
Kazim Richards starred in the Turkish national teams semi-final finish in the 2008 European Championships.
