Galatasaray striker Lukas Podolski has had quite a week. First he won the the Turkish Super Cup on his debut for the Istanbul giants.
The World Cup winner then went onto win the German television show Schlag Den Staar.
As expected Podolski shared a few Instagram pictures of his latest triumph and happened to be joined by four fans wearing Arsenal and Inter shirts – both clubs he has previously played for in the past in one of them.
The Schlag Den Staar show is a spin off from the Schlag den Raab program which also aired in England as the Beat the Star game show.
Podolski ended the show as a winner walking away with a briefcase full of cash which he gave away to charity.
The 30-year-old striker added the following caption alongside an image of his other Instagram image celebrating his gameshow success: “Perfect day yesterday! Won the Supercup and fought successfully for the Kids of my Foundation just a perfect Saturday evening… #Kids #help #foundation #poldi #strassenkicker #raab #elton.”
Podolski is expected to start for Galatasaray in the opening league game of the seasons against Sivasspor next week.
