Podolski doesn't rule out January move to Galatasaray

Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski has not ruled out the possibility of a move away from the North London club in January.

Podolski scored two goals in Arsenal’s 4-1 victory over Galatasaray at the Turk Telekom Arena.

The German international spoke with reporters after the game and was asked whether reports linking him with a move to Galatasaray were true.

“I am under contract with Arsenal,” Podolski stated

“These transfer stories come about during every transfer window but I am part of this team. I am happy at Arsenal.

“We will now look ahead to our next game. Let’s see what happens in January.”

Galatasaray made an offer for Podolski this summer but the 29-year-old striker decided to stay at Arsenal.

Podolski has played just 88 minutes of Premier League football this season for the Gunners.

The German international now has three Champions League goals in just 131 minutes of European competition football.
