Galatasaray are set to unveil the transfer of Reading midfielder Jem Karacan according to NTVSpor.

While no date has been specified the Reading midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a deal with the Istanbul giants by the end of the month.

The Istanbul giants are in the market for a new midfielder with both Felipe Melo and Yekta Kurtulus being linked with moves away from the club.

Reading have offered Karacan a contract extension. The experienced midfielder has missed much of the last two seasons due to injury. The Turkish international made just 11 appearances this season due to a lengthy knee injury.

Galatasaray won the league title for the 20th time last season and secured a place in the Champions League group stages.
