Real Madrid legend Guti Hernandez has revealed that he wants to coach in Turkey.
“I have my pro-license now, I can work as a manager and I want to start my career in Turkey, there are a few developments but I cannot speak about them just yet,” Guti told Radyospor.
“However, I want to work in Turkey.”
Guti joined Beşiktaş after spending 25 years at Real Madrid.
The Black Eagles were the only team outside of Madrid the former Spanish international ever played for.
Guti lifted the Turkish Cup during his time playing for the Turkish giants.
The 38-year-old won five La Liga titles and three Champions League during his time at Real Madrid and achieved legendary status at the club.
Guti would join former Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos if he were to manage in Turkey. Guti would also become the third Spanish manager in recent years to coach in Turkey after Del Bosque and Luis Aragounes.
Beşiktaş are currently joint first alongside Galatasaray in the Süper Lig on 51 points after 23 games. The Black Eagles take on Erciyesspor in the Süper Lig next in Ankara.
