Çaykur Rizespor made two surprise signings and three departures. We take a look at those who arrived and left below:

Arrivals

Ludoviç Obraniak – Werder Bremen: Rizespor recruited the services of Werdern Bremen forward Ludovic Obraniak on loan despite interest in West Ham and Sunderland. The Polish international joined Werder from Bordeaux last January but has struggled for playing time this season making only three appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.

Kyle Lafferty – Norwich City: The Black Sea based side loaned the Norwich City striker on transfer deadline day to help solve their goal scoring issues. Rizespor have scored the second fewest goals in the league this season (19). Lafferty has experience playing abroad in Italy which should easy the settling in process.

Departures

Oğuzhan Berber also joined lower tier side Altınordu on loan.

Former Newcastle United Lomano Lualua had his contract terminated by mutual consent. The 34-year-old forward did not take long to find a new club, the Congo international was snapped up by Roberto Carlos’ Akhisar side on a 1.5 year deal.
