Roberto Carlos reveals all-time Champions League dream team

Akhisar manager Roberto Carlos has revealed his all-time Champions League dream team.

The 42-year-old stated that he had to pick himself in the dream team and he probably has a point.

“I had to pick myself,” Carlos was quoted as saying on Yahoo.

“The attacking players need some competition when it comes to taking free kicks.”

Carlos enjoyed great success in the Champions League in his playing days.

The former Brazil international won three Champions League titles playing for Real Madrid as well as the European Super Cup and Intercontinental Club Cup.

The Akhisar head coach also picked a number of his former Real Madrid teammates including, Zinedine Zidane and Luis Figo.

Only Cannavaro did not win the Champions League as a player but he did win the World Cup with Italy.

Carlos has experience both playing and coaching in Turkey.

The World Cup winner was appointed manager of the Akigolar  in December.

The former Real Madrid legend also played for Fenerbahçe as a player and won the Super Cup twice with the Yellow Canaries.
