Roma after former Arsenal right back Emmanuel Eboue
Serie A giants AS Roma have been linked with a move for Galatasaray’s out of favour right back Emmanuel Eboue.
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Roma have met with the former Arsenal player’s agent with the view of signing him in January.
Galatasaray are keen to offload Eboue who is yet to make an appearances this season.
Roma have however been unable to match Eboue’s demands of a two year contact at €1.8 million per season.
Eboue has been training with the Galatasaray reserve squad and would be able to enter direct talks with another club in January due to only having a year left on his contract.
The 31-year-old right-back joined Galatasaray for €3.5 million in 2011.
Eboue played a key role in the Lions back-to-back title wining league campaigns between 2011-12 and 2012-13.
