Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech will not be leaving Chelsea in January according to football agent Viktor Kolar.
“There has been no contact with AS Roma,” he told the Evening Standard.
“Certainly Petr will not move during the transfer market in January.”
Cech had been closely linked with January moves to Roma and Beşiktaş over recent weeks but is now expected to stay until the end of the season.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho recently urged Cech to stay at Chelsea despite struggling for first team football.
“On my desk, normally from my board’s desk the information arrives, I have zero. Zero proposals,” Mourinho said.
“At this moment, Petr Cech is our goalkeeper and has a contract for two more years.
“He’s a fantastic professional and puts the team’s interests first. Not once has Petr Cech knocked on my door to inform me of his desire to accept some proposal.”
