Romanian press link Mircea Lucescu with Fenerbahce

The former Besiktas and Galatasaray manager Mircea Lucescu has been linked with Fenerbahce.

The Romanian newspaper National Fenerbahce are looking for a new manager for the 2015-16 season and are interested in bringing Lucescu back to Istanbul.

Lucescu currently manages Shakhtar Donetsk but is under pressure following a heady 7-0 defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League. Shakhtar also find themselves seven points behind their rivals Dinamo Kiev in the Ukrainian league.

The Romanian manager currently ears €2.5 million per season in Ukraine.

Fenerbahce are currently in their place in the Turkish Super Lig with 53 points in 25 games. The Yellow Canaries defeated both Galatasaray and Besiktas in the bast month.

The Istanbul Giants travel to Caykur Rizespor in the 26th round of the league.
