Former Bosnia national team manager Safet Susic admitted that he turned down offers to coach Galatasaray and Azerbaijan.

“There were numerous offers on the table for me, including Azerbaijan and Galatasaray, but I will have to sit down and think about my decision,” Susic told BH Dragons.

“I don’t want to wait too long but I also do not want to rush into things.

“I wanted to stay on as the manager of the team.

“It is still possible for us to qualify based on the number of points that are left. The federation decided to part ways with me and I don’t consider myself responsible if Bosnia doesn’t qualify for EURO2016.”

Susic guided Bosnia to its first World Cup tournament this summer in Brazil.

Galatasaray are currently coached by former Italian national team manager Cesare Prandelli and are in first place in the Süper Lig.
