Salih Uçan has been selected for the Roma squad that will face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Turkish international made his first appearance for Roma last weekend in the Giallorossi’s 3-0 win over Chievo.

Uçan missed the start of the season due to injury and had been linked with a move away from Roma however, his agent Ömer Uzun strongly denied the rumours.

“Salih missed the last three weeks of training because of injury,” Uzan told Roma Radio.

“His Coach Rudi Garcia is a very happy man. Moreover, progress has been made in his Italian.

“He talks to both his teammates and Coach, but in particular, he tries to speak in Italian with Rudi Garcia.

“On the first possible occasion, the Coach will give an opportunity to Salih. This season, Salih intends to play at least 15 games.

“A loan elsewhere? Currently, there is not even consideration on Roma’s part to send Salih away. The Giallorossi are satisfied with him.

“There is no discontent between the two parties, and therefore Ucan will be able to continue his career in Rome, now he has overcome his injury.”

Bayern Munich who are on maximum points, visit a Roma side just two behind in Group E.

The full match squad is as follows:

Astori, Cholevas, Cole, De Rossi, De Sanctis, Destro, Florenzi, Gervinho, Iturbe, Lljajic, Maicon, Manolas, Nainggolan, Paredes, Pjanic, Skorupski, Torosidis, Totti, Uçan ve Yanga-Mbiwa.
