Liverpool U21 manager Michael Beale believes that Samed Yeşil is his sides best finisher.
“We want him to get a good three or four months of playing and a good pre-season in him, to show his own potential. His finishing is probably second-to-none in our group at U21s,” Beale told the official Liverpool website.
Yeşil is expected to make his return for the U21 side against Fulham after spending a length time out on the sidelines.
The 20-year-old has returned to training after recovering from a double cruciate ligament injury and has returned to training.
Yeşil ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament for the second time in a year in January 2014.
The Reds signed Yeşil from Bayer Leverkusen for €1 million last season but he has spent much of his time in England out injured.
The 20-year-old was born in Germany and like Emre Can is also of Turkish descent.
Yeşil can represent both Germany and Turkey at international level.
