Bilic resigned at the end of the season after failing to win the Süper Lig despite being involved in the title race until the last three games of the season.

Beşiktaş also had an impressive Europa League run under Bilic beating Liverpool in the Round of 32 and making it to the quarter finals.

The Istanbul giants played the entire season without a stadium as the Vodafone Arena is still being constructed.

The new stadium is likely to be competed over the following the next league campaign.
