The Turkish international winger Sercan Sararer will return to Greuther Fürth according to the German newspaper Kicker.

Sararer has fallen out of favour with the VFB Stuttgart manager Huub Stevens following a string of poor performances and injury setbacks.

The 25-year-old joined Stuttgart from Greuther Fürth back in July 2013 for €2,5 million but has only managed to make 18 appearances in two seasons.

Sararer was an important member of the Turkish national team before his injury and has two and a half years remaining on his contract with Greuther Fürth.

The Nürnberg born winger has made 12 appearances for Stuttgart this season, six of which came in the Bundesliga.
