Sheffield Wednesday v Arsenal: Confirmed Starting Line-Ups – Mesut Özil rested for League Cup clash

Mesut Ozil Arsenal v Everton - Premier League Arsenal 3-4-1-2

Arsenal take on Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup tonight in high spirits after moving into first place in the Premier League last weekend following their 2-1 win over Everton.

Gunners star Mesut Özil will be rested after a brilliant spell providing four assist in five league games and scoring against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will play a rotation side with Joel Campbell, Kamara and Iwobi getting a rare start.

Wenger has a number of injury concerns going into the game. Aaron Ramsey, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Tomas Rosicky are all out due to injury and will not feature against Sheffield Wednesday.

The last time these two sides met was 15 years ago back in 2000 and that game ended in a 3-3 draw.
