Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic revealed that he wants to face Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32.
“I would love to play Liverpool in the next round,” Bilic said.
“It would be a great game between two sets of fantastic fans.”
Bilic also praised his players following the 1-0 win against Tottenham to clinch first place in Group C.
“The boys put on a fantastic performance today, we were missing several key players going into the game,” Bilic said.
“I made a few tactical changes in the second half which seemed to have a positive effect but in my opinion Cenk Tosun changed the direction of the game when he hit the cross bar from outside the penalty area.”
Beşiktaş have played Premier League opposition four time this season and only lost once – against Arsenal at the Emirates.
The Black Eagles drew with Tottenham in London and beat the Premier League outfit 1-0 at Istanbul to finish the group stage in first place on 14 points.
