Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic revealed that he is looking forward to the Europa League Round of 32 game against Liverpool and believes it will be a great test for his side.

“We are just one point behind the league leaders and we qualified from the Europa League in first place,” Bilic told Beşiktaş Magazine.

“Now we have a huge game against Liverpool which will be a great test.”

The Black Eagles will take on Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

The Olympic stadium has fond memories for Liverpool fans as it was where the Reds won the 2005 Champions League against AC Milan.

The Eagles, İnönü stadium is currently being expanded, Beşiktaş have had to play at temporary stadiums as a result.

The new Beşiktaş stadium will be a state of the art 41,903 seater sporting venue.

The Turkish giants had their final Europa League Group C game against Tottenham halted twice due to power cuts at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.

The stadium operators have now reached an agreement with the Turkish energy company AKSA to ensure there are no power failures in the Europa League Round of 32 match against Liverpool.

Beşiktaş have played in five different stadiums this season in three different cities – Istanbul, Konya and Ankara.
