Slaven Bilic praises Jose Sosa [divider]
Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic praised Jose Sosa but underlined that he must improve his fitness following the 2-1 win over Karabükspor.
“Sosa is in great form but he cannot go the full 90 minutes yet,” Bilic said.
“We have a very busy fixture list until the winter break, we were coming off the back of a mentally draining game in the Europa League.
“The game in Greece was played on a poor surface making it even harder physically.”
Sosa provided assists for both of Demba Ba’s goals. The Argentinian midfielder now has four assists for the Black Eagles this season.
Bilic also revealed that everybody in his squad who works hard during training will be given a chance.
“Mustafa Pektemek and Oğuzhan Özyakup are both Turkish internationals,” Bilic said.
“Every player is an important member of this team and everybody gets their chance especially if they work hard to wear the shirt.”
Beşiktaş moved into first place in the Süper Lig on 23 points following the win.
