“I have not met with any clubs regarding the transfer of Emenike. My client [Emenike] is on holiday in London and will return to Istanbul to train with the rest of the squad,” Konyar told Radyospor.

Tottenham were reported to have made a €10 million offer for Emenike that was rejected by Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yıldırım.

“Emenike offer came, they gave 10 million Euros. However, I trust him. I therefore rejected the offer,” Yıldırım said.

Spurs are reported to be considering an increased offer for the 27-year-old striker.

The 27-year-old striker joined Fenerbahçe last summer from Spartak Moscow for €13 million, and scored 12 goals as well as providing 9 assists last season.
