Star striker left out as Everton announce squad numbers for 2016-17 season

Everton have announced their squad numbers for the 2016-17 Premier League season.

The Spanish forward Gerard Deulofeu has moved up to number seven while Ross Barkley has received an upgrade after being given the and number eight jerseys.

However, Everton’s £13.5 million January transfer Oumar Niasse has been omitted from the squad list fuelling speculation that he is on his way out of the Merseyside club.

Everton revealed their squad number list on their official Twitter page.

The Senegal international striker Oumar Niasse is set to leave Everton according Daily Mail.

The daily paper states that the Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray have made a  £1 million offer for the 26-year-old striker.

The daily newspaper goes onto say that Everton boss  Ronald Koeman is ready to sell the 26-year-old this summer. Koeman left Niasse out of Everton’s pre-season squad and the Senegal international has played just 152 minutes of football over the summer.
