The Stoke Sentinel also recently linked Waris with a move to the Premier League outfit.

Hacıosmanoğlu recently confirmed that there have been offers from England and France for the 23-year-old.

“Lille and a few English clubs are interested in signing Waris,” Hacıosmanoğlu told Turkish radio station Best FM.

The transfer would have to wait until the end of the season to go ahead if an agreement is reached in January between the two clubs according to Hacıosmanoğlu.

”Lille were also interested in Waris before we signed him. However, a player cannot play for three different clubs in one season so he will have to wait until the end of the season,” he added.

”We know Manchester United are monitoring him too.”

Waris joined Spartak Moscow in 2013 and spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Valenciennes before joining Trabzonspor this summer.

The 23-year-old has found the back of the net four times and provided two assists in 17 appearances for Trabzonspor this season.

The pacy forward was included in Ghana’s 2015 African Cup of Nations squad but was later removed due to injury.
